Job Description

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Wix, you’ll play a pivotal role in our cloud infrastructure team, driving the development, optimization, and maintenance of our cloud-based infrastructure. You will:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure solutions

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective cloud solutions

• Use your expertise in Linux and networking fundamentals to enhance system performance, security, and reliability

• Manage infrastructure of Kafka, Artifactory, Redis, etcd, Consul and other technologies

• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to ensure consistency and efficiency in deployment processes

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to cloud infrastructure and services

Qualifications

• You have at least 3 years experience working in live production systems

• You’re familiar with scripting languages like Python and Bash

• You have hands-on experience with middleware systems (Artifactory, Redis, Kafka, etcd, Zookeeper, etc.), and related tools

• You have experience in Linux and are well versed in networking fundamentals

• You’ve proven experience with AWS

• You have strong knowledge of provisioning and configuration management systems (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Chef, etc.)

• You understand containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes (including EKS and kOps)

• You’ve experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)

• You have strong communication and collaboration skills

Salary range is 5500 - 8000 Eur GROSS / month (Total package, including equity)
