SAIC is looking to hire a talented Senior AWS Engineer who will design, deploy, operate, and maintain resilient secure AWS Cloud environment. This position is 100% remote.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (Iac) and SRE principles.
- Maintenance and ongoing development of automation and continuous build/integration/deployment infrastructure for multiple environments; write, build and deploy scripts.
- Enable observability and resilience throughout multi-cloud landing zones and Dev/Test/Prod environments.
- Support implementation of security policies, standards, guidelines, and governance.
- Continuously assess, onboard, and enable new FedRAMP cloud services using security best practices for IAM and networking.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree and 5 years of experience. 9 Years of Experience in Lieu of a degree.
- Must be U.S Citizen
- Must be able to obtain a public of Trust clearance to start and the ability to get a full secret clearance
- Proven background working in cloud environments with experience and knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
- Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban
- Agile collaboration tools such as Atlassian Jira, Confluence
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, Artifactory)
- CSPs including Azure, AWS, or OCI
- Containerization and container management with Kubernetes and Helm
- PowerShell or Bash Scripting
- Security automation with tools such as Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST)
- Cyber tools - Aviatrix, Orca, Splunk, Qmulous, STIG scanner
- Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation
- Git, branching strategies, GitFlow and/or GitHub Flow
- Cloud high availability and scalability best practices and architectures
Target salary range: $120,000 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
