Meet Our Team:
Join our Internal Development Experience Tribe at Pegasystems, where we focus on facilitating and optimizing the software development, delivery, and operations process. Our team is responsible for developing and maintaining tools that support large-scale test automation, software quality, and infrastructure automation. You will collaborate with engineers from various global locations, including the US, Poland, and India. 
 
Picture Yourself at Pega:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will have a significant impact on how our developers create and deliver software within a micro-service architecture. You will work alongside passionate engineering professionals dedicated to enhancing the software development and release processes. 
 
What You'll Do at Pega:
  • Take part in the implementation of new processes and the incremental improvement of existing ones to align with industry standards. 
  • Develop and maintain build pipelines, automation scripts, and monitoring systems. 
  • Manage infrastructure and internal tooling. 
Technologies You'll Use: 
  • Programming Languages: Java, Groovy, Kotlin, Python,
  • Build Tools: Gradle (including plugin authoring), Jenkins, 
  • Static Code Analysis Tools: Sonarqube, 
  • Cloud and Container Technologies: AWS, Kubernetes, GitOps (ArgoCD), Terraform, 
  • Monitoring Tools: Grafana, Prometheus, 
  • Databases: PostgreSQL.
 
Who You Are:
  • You are knowledgeable in various technologies and a catalyst for change. 
  • Always eager to learn and stay up to date with new technologies and processes. 
  • Proactive in proposing and adopting improvements that leverage software development. 
 
What You've Accomplished:
  • Ideally between 3 and 5 years of professional experience.
  • Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language. 
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills. 
  • Knowledgeable in CI/CD and SDLC implementations. 
  • Experienced in cloud deployment. 
  • Proficient in software build tools, particularly Gradle. 
  • Fluent in English.
