About the role:
Our client serves more than 300,000 businesses in 25 industries in the United States by facilitating industry initiatives, administrating the company System of Standards, providing education and support, and connecting communities through events and online forums.
We are looking for trong developer who will review PRs from time to time and contribute code from time to time but will be focused on DevOps.
The main responsibilities for the role include:
- Work with a team of DevOps Engineers to manage, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
- Work with a team of DevOps Engineers to manage, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
- Participate in the planning, coordination, and implementation of software releases across multiple platforms.
- Serve as the liaison between development, QA, and product teams to ensure smooth and reliable releases.
- Work closely with Test Automation to support continuous testing within CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage Azure cloud resources, focusing on scalability, resiliency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Continuously monitor system health through logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
- Perform root cause analysis of production disruption using modern observability tools and techniques.
- Triage enterprise production support of Business and Customer applications
- Identify and resolve process, workflow, and technical issues
- Develop and execute delivery plans and track progress to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
- Perform production build/deploy activities for application releases
- Support production deployments, and assist with troubleshooting deployment issues
- Build and test release automation using tools like Powershell
- Debug complex distributed system bugs in production including reading .NET in order to provide root cause analysis
- Burn down the team's toil backlog by expanding the use of automation tooling and developer self-service solutions
Job Skills/Requirements
- +90% English written and oral (at least B2 level) with excellent communication skills
- 5+ years of heavy hands-on experience in CI/CD build infrastructure, with a focus on Azure DevOps
- Expertise with Microsoft Azure services (Azure App Services, API Management, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL)
- Expertise in .NET Core and Angular technologies
- Fluently with both Bash and PowerShell for systems automation
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking capabilities
- Effective organizational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure, adhere to project deadlines and procedures, multi-task and be detail-oriented
- Fluent in modern observability technologies including APM solutions like Azure Application Insights and Log data query tools like Azure Log Analytics
- Ability to take business requests and break them down into manageable steps to achieve a goal
