If you are a driven DevOps Engineer with a passion for building robust, scalable, and innovative infrastructure solutions, we should talk! As the first DevOps Engineer at IR Labs, you will be a cornerstone of our technology team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our analytics and AI solutions. You will collaborate closely with our engineers, data scientists, and product team to ensure seamless deployment, scalability, and reliability of our systems. Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Design and Implementation: Architect and deploy scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure solutions on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • CI/CD Pipeline Development: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid, reliable, and efficient software delivery.
  • Automation and Scripting: Develop and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Automate repetitive tasks to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Set up and manage comprehensive monitoring and logging systems to ensure the health, performance, and security of our infrastructure and applications.
  • Collaboration and Support: Work closely with software developers, data scientists, and product managers to understand requirements and provide infrastructure support for new features and product enhancements.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement best practices for security and compliance, ensuring that our systems and data are protected against threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Troubleshooting and Optimization: Proactively identify and resolve infrastructure issues, optimizing performance and ensuring high availability.

Desired Skills and Experience

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: 3+ years in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
  • Technical Expertise: Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and a deep understanding of their services and best practices.
  • CI/CD Mastery: Proficiency in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Solid understanding of containerization technologies and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, Kubeflow, Kafka or Docker.
  • Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate infrastructure tasks.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, AWS CloudWatch or equivalent.
  • Security Best Practices: Knowledge of security principles and best practices for cloud infrastructure and applications.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and solving issues.

The base compensation range for this position is $150,000 - $170,000 plus yearly variable compensation, based on KPIs and performance. Actual compensation may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
