ELITS is now looking for a Cloud Engineer for our operations in Brampton.
About this position:
As a Cloud Engineer, you will be part of our team and your main responsibilities are:
- Experience in troubleshooting of the network.
- Experience in Cloud Native Infrastructure solution (CNIS)
- Experience in RTCS/BSS
- Experience with Cisco IOS-XR, IOS and Juniper SRX firewalls, JUNOS software.
Knowledge of firewall rules and security zones in Juniper SRX.
Knowdledge of advanced IP networks (IPv4, IPV6, MPLS,OSPF,BGP,QOS and RSVP technologies) - Experience with the multiple vendor setup (Juniper/Cisco)
Experience in verification, integration and troubleshooting of complete End-to-End solutions in a Multi-vendor Set-up - Experience in providing Solution Support including handling of Helpdesks and Customer Support Requests
- Experience in preparation and execution of Software upgrades and updates and of supply and acceptance projects with the customer
- Experience in commissioning and integration of new sites
- Knowledge of configuration Management, i.e. generating and updating customer solution documentations and descriptions
- Experience in fault handling and corrective actions on node, service and infrastructure level
- Experience in scripting.
- Knowledge of network management tools.
- Experience in implementing Complex IP based Network Enhancement and deployment activities
- Experience in impact analysis, method of procedure review, implementation, and verification of change management activities
Qualities:
• Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science or equivalent technical discipline
• 5-10 years of experience in Network/IT Operations for Telecom Company
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (OpenStack and Kubernetes)
• Linux working knowledge (file system, bash scripting, crontab)
• Work experience in a telecommunications environment or customer services and support on 2nd Level or Planning & Design or Build activities
• Debugging knowledge, project implementation, and network configuration
• Fluent in English, French speaking is a plus.
• 5-10 years of experience in Network/IT Operations for Telecom Company
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (OpenStack and Kubernetes)
