We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team in Spain. This role provides a challenging and interesting opportunity to work on innovative products, that serve both external and internal customers. We would love to speak with you if you have experience in and would love to work with tools such as AWS, Terraform, Jenkins and have some scripting skills.
As products in the pharmacovigilance space are heavily regulated, you will help develop and maintain automation processes to simplify delivery of documentation and controls.
As part of this role you will also be supporting our product implementation team to onboard customers and supporting pre-existing implementations acting as a subject matter expert.
 
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
5+ years of work experience as DevOps or as Software Engineer
Excellent understanding of SDLC processes, building and releasing applications in cloud infrastructures
Professional knowledge on Linux system administration
Professional knowledge on Automation processes and tools (Jenkins, Terraform, Scripting, etc..)
Good knowledge on containers and orchestration of containers
Good knowledge on AWS
Knowledge of MSSQL
Knowledge on software architectures based on microservices (autoscaling, service discovery, etc..)
Knowledge on supporting Java and/or Python applications
Knowledge of supporting .net applications
Good knowledge of Git
 
It would be great if you also had . . .
Knowledge of Windows server
Experience with working in validated environment
Experience with working in a GxP/highly regulated environment
Experience with Pharmacovigilance/Drug Safety
Experience with ISO 27001 and other industry standards
 
What will you be doing in this role?
Responsible for Software Delivery Automation processes in AWS (CI/CD)
Responsible for Infrastructure Delivery Automation processes in AWS through Terraform (Infrastructure-as-code)
Spread the DevOps culture in the company
Evaluate new technologies as opportunity to improve
Collaborate in the design of modern Software Architectures
Participate in production problems resolution 
Product you will be developing
 
Focus of this role will be related to the various products of the Life Sciences line of business. The key skills critical to this role include AWS, Terraform, Jenkins, and multiple AWS services.
 
About the Team 
 
The current team of 7 members, work closely with the multiple development teams, for the delivery of new features to existing systems, building new systems and implementing operational efficiencies to the hosted infrastructure.
 
Hours of Work
This is a full-time employee role, based in Spain. The working hours will be CEST, with flexibility.
