Core Skills and Experience:
- In-depth understanding and application in non-cloud environments.
- Experience in setting up Java microservices on Tomcat, indicating familiarity with application deployment and server management.
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux systems, essential for server configuration and management.
- Ability to manage configurations across environments, crucial for maintaining consistency and reliability in deployments.
- Experience deploying CI/CD pipelines and tools.
- Proficiency with Jenkins for deployment automation.
- Skills in managing software releases, ensuring smooth deployments and version control.
- Deployment experience in cloud environments, though your primary expertise seems to be in non-cloud setups.
- Strong skills in Shell and Unix scripting, enabling automation of tasks and deployments.
Tools and Technologies:
- Java 17, Gradle: Tools for building and managing Java applications.
- Jenkins: CI/CD tool for automation deployments.
- SONAR: Used for code quality scanning.
- JFrog repository: Artifact repository management.
- UCD (UrbanCode Deploy): Deployment automation tool.
- Grafana: Monitoring and observability tool.
- Postman: API testing and development tool.
Additional Skills:
- Agile and DevOps Principles: Understanding of Agile methodologies and applying DevOps practices effectively.
- Development Testing Automation: Experience with implementing testing automation tools.
- IT Infrastructure Management: Good grasp of managing IT infrastructure to support development and deployment activities.
