In the Coatings Division, we are focused on the development, production and marketing of a variety of coating solutions - from applied surface technologies to automotive paints. Working in global teams, we promote innovation, design and new applications in order to meet our partners' needs. This portfolio is complemented by "Beyond Paint Solutions", which enables new applications with innovative surfaces.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Color Platform is supporting Coatings divisions business units in digitalization and transformation. Our mission is to provide innovative and high-quality color software solutions to drive the digitalization of our businesses and customers in the automotive industry.

• In your role as a DevOps Engineer, you will focus on CI/CD and ensure that the technologies used (OpenShift/Kubernetes, Azure Cloud, CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, and more) contribute to the development and operation of infrastructure and applications in a modern and future-proof manner.
• You are responsible for the modernization and improvement of our operational platforms with the latest technologies.
• Furthermore, you take part in the development of our build and deployment processes, our DevOps strategy, and the expansion of CI/CD.
• Supporting the expansion of automation in the operations area as well as consoling and further developing of our monitoring and logging systems are also part of your tasks.
• Finally, you perform regular operational tasks and support development teams in troubleshooting.

QUALIFICATIONS

• degree in computer science, informatics, business informatics or in a comparable field
• experience in software development and methods as well as containerization technologies and knowledge of build and deployment tools (Jenkins, Maven)
• skills in continuous integration and continuous delivery, application monitoring, and the software development lifecycle
• know-how in monitoring and log management, just like CI/CD, Linux/Unix and scripting languages
• profound knowledge of English
