The Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) team is creating a world-class container management and orchestration services for the cloud and beyond. We are the team working on container solutions for Azure on both Linux and Windows. Our charter is to define the next generation of cloud-native infrastructure on Azure.
We are looking for Software Engineer who is excited about containers and container orchestration with Kubernetes, who also has a passion for building DevOps tools that make it easier for people to build, deploy, and scale their software on the Azure cloud. Our team members are in locations of multiple countries and continents.
As a Software Engineer II - Azure Kubernetes on the AKS container networking team, you'll be integrating eBPF instrumentation into customers Kubernetes clusters for best in class observability. This opportunity will help you both learn with open source technology and experience real customer Kubernetes workloads. Help us make Azure Kubernetes Service's network simple, scalable, and powerful using open source components blended with our hyperscale cloud. The team is mostly remote but your manager still holds down office space for those who want it.

Software Engineering IC3: The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.
