Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters to ensure high availability and scalability.
• Oversee the deployment and management of Docker containers across various environments.
• Provide technical expertise in the design and implementation of container orchestration solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate container solutions with existing infrastructure.
• Implement best practices for container security and monitoring.
• Lead efforts to automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to container orchestration and deployment.
• Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to improve the efficiency of container management.
• Develop and maintain documentation for container orchestration processes and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations for containerized environments.
• Provide training and support to team members on container technologies and best practices.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of containerized applications.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of infrastructure and deployment processes.

Position Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in an IT related role.
• Hands-on experience with Linux for performing deployment and validating development packages, application configuration and logs.
• Strong triage/troubleshooting skills such as debugging the application logs in Linux host to narrow down the root cause for application error/failure and determine ownership of the problem.
• Ability to ensure test environment readiness for test execution by validating the necessary connectivity/configuration details such as Endpoints, Queue, Kafka, IP, Firewall for all the application components.
• Understanding of Kubernetes components and AWS offerings.
• Self-organized, team-oriented and be able to work on multiple projects.

Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until August 30th, 2024. The annual salary for this position is between $49,000 - $107,000 USD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
